Pic Prune / Terms of use
Terms of use
Short, because Pic Prune has no accounts, holds none of your data, and is sold by Apple rather than by us.

Who you are dealing with
Pic Prune is an iPhone app. "Pic Prune", "we" and "us" in these terms mean the people who make it, and you can reach us at support@picprune.com.
Using Pic Prune
Pic Prune is an iPhone app that helps you find and clear look-alike photos in your own photo library. You may use it on the devices your Apple Account allows, under Apple's standard licence terms for App Store apps, which apply in addition to these.
Please do not decompile it, resell it, or use it on photo libraries that are not yours to manage.
Deleting photos is your decision
This is the part worth reading properly.
Pic Prune never deletes anything on its own. It groups similar photos and suggests which one looks best, and you choose what to keep and when to clear the rest. Suggestions are exactly that: the app has no idea which photos matter to you.
Everything you clear goes to your iOS Recently Deleted album, where it stays for 30 days and can be recovered. Beyond that, deletion is permanent and we cannot retrieve anything, because we never had it.
Keep your own backups. That's true of any tool that deletes files, this one included.
Payment
Pic Prune is free to download. It is not a subscription. Nothing recurs, and there is nothing to cancel.
Apple is the seller. Apple takes the payment and Apple handles refunds, at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot process a refund even if we want to.
The price is whatever the App Store listing shows at the moment you buy, and it can change. A change never affects a purchase you have already made, because there is nothing recurring to re-charge.
What we do and do not promise
We work hard to make Pic Prune reliable, and it is provided as it is, without a warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will find every look-alike in your library. Its similarity detection is a judgment made by software, and it will sometimes group photos you consider different, or miss ones you consider the same.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost photos, lost data or lost time. The 30-day recovery window that iOS gives you is the practical protection here, and it is a good one. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

Where we describe how iOS behaves, we're describing it as we understand it at the time of writing. Apple changes things.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Ireland.
That doesn't take away rights you already have. If you're a consumer, the mandatory consumer-protection law of the country you live in still applies, and nothing above overrides it. A choice-of-law clause cannot strip those rights, and we are not trying to.
